Eagle Extravaganza at Wing Lake Development Center

It was a day of celebration as 12 students were honored at Wing Lake Development Center’s Eagle Extravaganza. Each classroom selected one exceptional student who was recognized for their remarkable contributions to the Wing Lake community by demonstrating educational growth, progress in individual goals, or positive leadership and kindness to their peers. Wing Lake Director, Susan Simms, delivered heartfelt remarks about each recipient as families and staff smiled from the audience and fellow students watched via livestream. “This is my favorite day of the year,” commented Simms. After the ceremony, attendees enjoyed cake and conversation in the Wing Lake gymnasium. Congratulations to all of the recipients!
