The Wing Lake Development Center library was transformed into a magical winter wonderland with a life-size gingerbread house, thanks to the generosity of a local appliance store and parent Kimberly Cromer, inspiring students to engage in festive, sensory activities.
AAC and EAT Virtual Meetings - Our speech pathologists, Laura Cusumano and Melissa Elkus, have planned their quarterly AAC and EAT meetings.
District News
Current grade 4 students and parents are invited to attend the Band and Orchestra Instrument Selection Night on Thursday, May 8 at Bloomfield Hills High School. Parents will accompany their child as they try each instrument to aid in the final fitting.
A grant-funded initiative allowed Bloomfield Hills Schools PREP students to explore visual and dramatic arts through hands-on classroom activities, artist residencies, and enriching field trips to theaters and art centers.
Thursday, June 12, 2025 will now be a half day of school for grades K-8 (BHHS remains a half day as previously planned). This change does not affect International Academy, nor Bloomin’ Preschools, nor Wing Lake Developmental Center.
BHHS Student Leadership attended the 2025 MASC/MAHS State Conference in Grand Rapids, where they connected with peers, engaged in leadership activities, and gathered inspiration to bring back to their school.
With support from community contributors, the BHS Foundation provided new archery kits for grades 3-8, expanding the program from North Hills Middle School to five additional schools.
Students from all four elementary schools participated in Elementary Career Week where they explored various fields and created meaningful connections with their learning!
Grade 8 students at North Hills Middle School brought history to life through mock trials; developing legal arguments, presenting evidence, and gaining deeper insights into history, teamwork, and public speaking.
