Bloomfield Hills Schools occupational therapists support students’ physical, sensory, cognitive, and emotional development through hands-on, creative activities such as making applesauce to help them build essential skills and thrive in the classroom.

The Wing Lake Development Center library was transformed into a magical winter wonderland with a life-size gingerbread house, thanks to the generosity of a local appliance store and parent Kimberly Cromer, inspiring students to engage in festive, sensory activities.

Throughout the 2025-26 school year, BHS staff are being encouraged to prioritize self-care and personal well-being.
Trips begin January 9, 10 and 11 & end on February 13, 14 & 15. Orientation Meeting for parents, skiers & snowboarders on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 6 p.m. at Booth Center (7273 Wing Lake Road).
Students across all four elementary schools engaged in social-emotional learning during “Mindfulness Matters Day” in October. Experts from Bloomfield Child & Family Counseling volunteered their time to lead in-class lessons on emotional regulation, calming techniques, and more.
